It's always fun to stop by Quartz Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dingford Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out, and after a long day outdoors Salish Lodge And Spa is a fine place to spend a night or two. A good deal of rain falls at Quartz Lake; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily December, that's the one that rains the most while July is mostly the driest month. If only every site had this much outdoors amusing things,

| | what a great world it would be. Dingford Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby; the snow is great at Snoqualmie.
Throughout the summertime, highs mostly are in the 70's at Quartz Lake while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Quartz Lake tend to be in the 30's. Campground, and why not head up to Alpental and strap some skis to your feet.
And if that's not enough there's plenty more enjoyable stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. There's fine hiking along the Pratt Lake Trail, and
whitewater paddling is great on Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Good hiking is available along the Middle Fork Trail, and Green Ridge Lake is a magnificent lake nearby. This lake
is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Quartz Lake; Annette Lake Trail is a glorious local trail, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Dingford Creek Falls.
Quartz Lake is one of the lakes here in
the Northern Cascade Range. A gorgeous lake like Lunker Lake near Quartz Lake is a wonderful place to visit, and camping is available at West Fork Campground.
