What a nice lake Pysht Millpond is. Pysht Millpond usually gets a good deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November; the driest of the months is July. Pysht Millpond is located in the Olympic Mountains. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Olympic Mountains. If you need a location to stay Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort is a tremendous choice, and there are good places to explore along the Bogachiel Trail.
This lake is so wonderful.

| | Pysht Millpond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Bear Creek Campground is a great local campground, and don't leave Pysht Millpond without first going for a hike along the Pass Trail. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Pysht Millpond get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's with temperatures at Pysht Millpond dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. | |

Man, is there plenty of enjoyable stuff to do right next door to Pysht Millpond. A glorious close by hotel is Kalaloch Lodge.
There's so much to do here at Pysht Millpond that you need to camp here for a while, Klahowa Campground
is a glorious place for that, and during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Port Angeles for sure. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Soleduck River; you can go for a hike on the Rugged Ridge Trail.
