Do stop by Pyramid Lake while you're in this part of Washington. Near Pyramid Lake you come across the Sourdough Lookout Trail which is a glorious hiking trail; what would a spot like Pyramid Lake be without out of the ordinary nearby characteristics like Colonial Glacier. | | when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. At Pyramid Lake you can distinguish Colonial Peak, and Reflector Bar is another good spot to stop by nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Pyramid Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Colonial Creek Campground is a magnificent site for that, also Diablo Dam is worth stopping at since you're here. Lake. Now, you may think that's lots but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Take a side visit to Colonial Creek, and float down the rapids of Cascade River in a kayak. High temperatures
at Pyramid Lake during the summertime months are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's; overnight lows in the 20's for Pyramid Lake.
Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is so good! Pyramid Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Big Bear Campground is a brilliant local campground; paddling on Stetattle Creek
is so much fun. If you need a place to stay Totem Trail Motel is a nice choice, and sites like Butler Brown Flats are tremendous to have a look at. Going for a hike on the Panther Creek Trail is always a delightful adventure,
and a tour to nearby Thunder Arm is very relaxing. So much exciting stuff to do at Pyramid Lake, so little time. The Pyramid Lake Trail is a good hiking trail near Pyramid Lake, and of course, this is a nice region for folks who like lakes, Diablo Lake is a lake close by.
