There's whitewater on Nisqually River for all you adrenaline people, and if you came for an overnight stay Rainier Villa Mobile Park and RV is a glorious place to camp. All the water falling down from the sky makes Purvis Ponds a wet site; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Purvis Ponds and you like golf,       you can visit University Golf Course; needless to say, this is a good area for folks who like lakes, Spanaway Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. If you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge Tacoma is a glorious choice; unsurprisingly Morey Creek flows through this vicinity. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Purvis Ponds highs are regularly in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while                  Purvis Ponds overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's.
