You'll need more than a day to look at everything Profitts Pond has to offer, you can camp at Deception Creek Campground. Lakes are glorious; Lake Sawyer is a lake that's next to Profitts Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Profitts Pond is right by the Middle Fork Trail, and at Profitts Pond you can spot Beckler Peak. Why not check out nearby Alpine Creek since you're here at Profitts Pond; if you come at the       right time of year, Foss River offers some pleasant whitewater. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. That right there is plenty of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. The snow is great at Stephens Pass, and hiking along the Cooper Pass Trail is splendid fun. Summertime highs at Profitts Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. For the duration of the                  wintertime the highs are generally in the 40's with temperatures at Profitts Pond dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. Profitts Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; during December this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is July. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Northern Cascade Range. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Alpental is in the vicinity of Profitts Pond; drift down the rapids of Tye River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Foss River Campground, and as expected, this is a great vicinity for people who like lakes, Jewel Lakes is a lake in the vicinity. So much entertaining stuff to do at Profitts Pond, so little time.
