Beautiful Profitts Pond has much to offer visitors. Summertime highs at Profitts Pond commonly tend to be in the 70's, and the night is slightly chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Profitts Pond. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Profitts Pond; Cooper Pass Trail is a brilliant local trail; Beckler Peak is clearly visible from Profitts Pond. This lake is so wonderful. splendid local campground, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Stephens Pass is relatively near.
There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Northern Cascade Range. Alpine Creek is close to Profitts Pond and is always
a joy to visit, and after a long day outdoors Cascadia Inn is a wonderful location to spend a night or two. And that's not all you can do here at Profitts Pond. The skiing at Alpental is great, and nice hiking is available along the
Escondido Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant location for whitewater paddling near Profitts Pond is Tye River, and if you came to camp Foss River Campground is a good site to do that.
There's fine hiking along the Middle Fork Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Skyriver Inn.
