     Prairie Mountain Lakes is always a pleasure to visit. All through the long summer days highs here at Prairie Mountain Lakes get into the 70's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are generally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Prairie Mountain Lakes. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Northern Cascade Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Meadow Mountain Trail, and get  
   your heart beating on the great whitewater of Illabot Creek. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is bountiful here in the Northern Cascade Range.
Prairie Mountain Lakes gets a good deal of water; November is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is July. Just can't get enough of Prairie Mountain Lakes. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Prairie Mountain Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Dearinger Campground, obviously you could
 
               also have a look at Lake Tupso if you're here; it's not far at all. There's so much to do here at Prairie Mountain Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, White Chuck Campground is a tremendous place for that; Prairie Mountain Lakes is not the only place nearby, Lake Louise is a nearby lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Lost Creek Ridge Trail; a great place for whitewater paddling is Sauk River. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. Hiking along the Finney Peak Trail is brilliant fun, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sky Valley Inn, Monroe.
