A visit to Pothole Lake is always a good idea. Pothole Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. There are perfect places to explore along the Silver Creek Trail, and National Park Inn is a good location to get some rest. Summertime highs at Pothole Lake generally tend to be in the 70's, and the overnight is a tad cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's while Pothole

| | Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Getting to Teeley Creek from Pothole Lake is simple, and a perfect close by hotel is Alexander's Country Inn. The high level of rainfall makes Pothole Lake a pretty wet place; all through November this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. at, High Rock Campground is a great local campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Silver Creek offers some great whitewater. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Going for a hike on the Osborne Mountain
Trail is always a good adventure; the summit of Osborne Mountain can be seen from Pothole Lake. Pothole Lake is not the only place nearby, Bertha May Lake is a nearby lake; there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the Big Creek
Trail. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. If time allows, Mount Rainier National Park is a national park worth visiting, and camping at Silver Creek Campground is always a nice experience.
This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cispus River.
