Pothole Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Looking for something right next door to Pothole Lake? Greenwood Lake is in close proximity; Mount Rainier National Park is a perfect place close by. All year is a great time in the Northern Cascade Range if you go for the outdoors. Get wet paddling on Cispus River; don't leave Pothole Lake without first going for a hike along the Big Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Econo Lodge

| | Buckley is a nice spot to get some rest, and Pothole Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, High Rock Campground is a magnificent local campground. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too perfect to be true. Teeley Creek is a stream that you may bump into during your stay. There's so much to do here at Pothole Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mounthaven Resort is a magnificent location for that. The | |

high level of precipitation makes Pothole Lake a reasonably wet place; November is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the period of the days of summer highs here at
Pothole Lake get into the 70's while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 40's with temperatures at Pothole Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights.
You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Paddling on Silver Creek is so much fun, and there's great hiking along the Osborne Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You could also explore Granite Lake since you're here
at Pothole Lake; it's nearby. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. The top of Osborne Mountain is easily distinguished from Pothole Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Pothole Lake; Silver Creek Trail is a good local trail.
