This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Canyon Creek - Klickitat drainage. The amount of rainfall that falls at Pothole Lake is close to the national average; most of the snow falls during December; July meanwhile is the driest month. After a long day outdoors Biggs Junction Travelodge is a delightful spot to spend a night or       two, and if you came for an overnight stay Sunset RV Park is a pleasant place to camp. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Northern Cascade Range. Why not camp at Cottonwood RV Park if you're here at Pothole Lake, and Jackknife Butte is uncomplicated to spot from Pothole Lake. At Pothole Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in                  the 30's; nighttime lows at Pothole Lake through the winter typically plunge into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Little Klickitat River in a kayak, obviously you could also have a look at Lake Beds while you're here; it's not far at all. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
