Man, is there plenty of fun stuff to do in the vicinity of Pothole Lake. Quality Inn & Suites is a magnificent spot to get some rest. Whitewater paddling is fine on Little Klickitat River, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Columbia Gorge is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. The yearly rainfall here at Pothole Lake is about average; most of the snow falls during December, and the driest of       the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. You're most likely keen on lakes, Carp Lake is one of those nearby, and Pothole Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Sunset RV Park is a splendid local campground. Get drenched paddling on Canyon Creek - Klickitat drainage; as expected, this is a delightful neighborhood for people who like lakes, Lake Beds is a lake close by. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the                  Northern Cascade Range has to offer. There's so much to do here at Pothole Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cottonwood RV Park is a good site for that, and from Pothole Lake you get a good view of Jackknife Butte. Summertime highs at Pothole Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's.
