Lakes are such serene places, why not stop by Peabody Heights Reservoir in the neighborhood of Port Angeles Reservoir; you don’t have to go far from Port Angeles Reservoir to spot the water at Peabody Heights Reservoir Dam. Summertime at Port Angeles Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in       the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Port Angeles Reservoir. While you're here at Port Angeles Reservoir you must explore Port Angeles Harbor, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Elwha River. Just can't get enough of the Olympic Mountains. There's so much to do here at Port Angeles Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Peabody Creek RV Park is a good spot for that, and a good nearby hotel is Red                  Lion Hotel Port Angeles. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Port Angeles Reservoir. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Little River Trail, and if you need a place to stay Quality Inn Uptown is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. The Lake Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you come at the right time of year, Elwha River offers some splendid whitewater. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Port Angeles Reservoir. And if that's not enough there's heaps more amusing stuff to do in the Olympic Mountains. Take a little tour to Peabody Creek if you're here at Port Angeles Reservoir; Port Angeles Reservoir is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Shadow Mountain is a tremendous local campground. If time allows, Olympic National Park is a national park worth a visit; a gorgeous lake like Black Diamond Reservoir is a tremendous site to pop by. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge is in the vicinity of Port Angeles Reservoir, and do take a hike on the Lillian River Trail.
