It's always fun to stop by Port Angeles Reservoir. The Olympic Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Elwha River. For the duration of the summer months here at Port Angeles Reservoir, high temperatures regularly get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are typically in the 40's; overnight lows all through the winter

River Trail. Man, is there lots of enjoyable things to do in the Olympic Mountains. Gotta ski! Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge is a brilliant spot to do that; you can stay the night at Peabody Creek RV Park. This lake is so wonderful.
Peabody Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Port Angeles Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Welcome Inn Trailer Court/rv. So many amusing things
to do here in the Olympic Mountains, too good to be true. Don't forget to check out Port Angeles Harbor while you're here at Port Angeles Reservoir, and do take a hike on the Little River Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you come
at the right time of year, Elwha River offers some good whitewater, and not far from Port Angeles Reservoir you obtain some perfect water scenery at Peabody Heights Reservoir Dam. Port Angeles Reservoir is a wet location that
gets a lot of precipitation; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest. If you need a site to stay Flagstone Motel is a pleasant choice, and Olympic National Park is a delightful local destination.
