Why not camp at Elmwood Mobile Home Park if you're here at Pony Lake, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not go to Surprise Lake. Wildwood Spring is a splendid local attraction, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Park Plaza is a fine place to spend a night or two. White River is a nice location to visit; Lake Chalet is a delightful lake nearby. Puyallup River is a glorious whitewater       spot in the vicinity of Pony Lake, and there are plenty of people from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue here at Pony Lake. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Pony Lake is peerless! A nice nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SUMNER, and a wonderful location to camp here at Pony Lake is River Road RV. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Lake Tapps Island Golf Course is in close proximity; visiting                  Mount Rainier National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. All through the summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Pony Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight lows during the winter for Pony Lake tend to be in the 30's.
