The beauty of Ponderosa Lake is reason enough to stop by. Porcupine Pass is a magnificent site to go to next to Ponderosa Lake, and after a long day outdoors Loon Lake Motel is a fine place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Sandy Beach in close proximity to Ponderosa Lake is always a good idea, and the slopes of Mt. Spokane are so inviting nobody can resist. Hemlock Creek flows through this area, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not explore Black Lake. Lakeside Motel is a great site to get some rest; good water scenery is available at Ponderosa Lake Dam close to Ponderosa Lake. There's so much to do here at Ponderosa Lake that you need to camp here for a while, North Vista RV Park and Mini is a good place for that; everybody close by loves | |

So many cool things to do at Ponderosa Lake, so little time. Whitewater paddling is nice on Spokane River, and you can stay the night at Jerry's Landing Resort. This lake is so wonderful. All through
the summertime months highs here at Ponderosa Lake get into the 80's, and the nighttime is rather chillier of course, generally in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are mostly in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Ponderosa Lake throughout the wintertime commonly descend into the 10's.
