    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Washington you can check out Pond Number Six. Through the summertime, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Pond Number Six while night lows are usually in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Pond Number Six dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. Pond Number Six mostly gets a great deal of rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently December, that's the one  
   that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is July.
Not far from Pond Number Six, you'll hit upon Pond Number 1-A which is a beautiful lake; dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Centralia. That right there is a heap already, but it keeps on going; Pond Number Six has it all. Dam Number Six is striking and it's close to Pond Number Six; Holiday Inn Express Ocean Shores, Wa is a perfect place to get some rest. During your trip to Pond Number Six
 
               you'll meet some people from Centralia for sure, and don't forget to take a brilliant little journey to Packwood Creek.
Pond Number Six is great enough to spend more than a day at, Offut Lake Resort is a great local campground, and there are some great whitewater spots on Deschutes River. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Thousand Trails is always a great experience, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Cowlitz River.
