All the water falling down from the sky makes Pond Number One a wet spot; the month with most of the rain is December, and July is the month with the least moisture. High temperatures at Pond Number One through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Pond Number One are       in the 30's. Dam Number One has delightful water scenery and it's next to Pond Number One; Holiday Inn Express Ocean Shores, Wa is a delightful place to get some rest. Thousand Trails is a nice campground here, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Centralia. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area right next door to Pond Number One has to offer. Paddling on Cowlitz River is so much fun, and do                  visit Packwood Creek since you're here at Pond Number One. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Deschutes River, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Centralia. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great vicinity for people who like lakes.
