Dam Number One has delightful water scenery and it's in the vicinity of Pond Number One, and if you came for an overnight stay Thousand Trails is a good spot to camp. If you come at the right time of year, Cowlitz River offers some good whitewater. Pond Number One is a wet place that gets a good deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is December while July is frequently the driest month.
