It's always fun to stop by Pocket Lake. This site, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors fun things. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Ruth Creek; after a long day outdoors Totem Trail Motel is a great place to spend a night or two. All through the summer months at Pocket Lake highs are commonly in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 40's, and throughout

| | the dark hours in the wintertime at Pocket Lake temperatures drop to the 30's.
A pleasant place for whitewater paddling near Pocket Lake is Baker River, and some of the water close by flows, like Ensawkwatch Creek. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Hannegan Campground. There's so much to do here at Pocket Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shuksan Campground is a good location | |

Pocket Lake is a quite wet place mostly with a great deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout November, and July on the other hand is the driest.
