Why not stop by Playa Lake if you're passing through these parts. Dry warm beds await you at Schweitzer Mountain Resort, and Roosevelt Grove Of Ancient Cedars is a forest that you can go to. This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Sullivan River; a short trip to Granite Falls is always worthwhile. Playa Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly December, that's the one that snows the most while July

| | is generally the driest month. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Playa Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Playa Lake drop into the 10's. Hiking along the Chipmunk Rapids National Recreation Trail is magnificent fun, and a lake close by is Huff Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Playa | |

Lake is right by the Hanna Flast Nature Trail, and if you get bored of Playa Lake you could also pop by nearby Muskegon Lake. Why not camp at Stagger Inn Campground if you're here at Playa Lake, and from Playa Lake you get a fine
view of Little Grass Mountain. Just can't get enough of Playa Lake. Why not have a look at close by Hemlock Creek since you're here at Playa Lake, and Granite Creek Campground is a pleasant local campground. Paddling on Priest River is so much fun, and you could always look at Granite Pass.
