Don't leave Playa Lake without first going for a hike along the Hanna Flast Nature Trail, and Granite Falls is an inspiring spot to have a look at during your stay. Playa Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; throughout December this area sees the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. Lakes? Sure, Huff Lake is close by, and do take some time to pop by Roosevelt Grove Of       Ancient Cedars if you're here. You can run the rapids of Sullivan River right next door to Playa Lake, and splendid hiking is available along the Chipmunk Rapids National Recreation Trail. Why not camp at Stagger Inn Campground since you're here at Playa Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Vista Motel is a magnificent choice. This lake is so wonderful. A great view of pretty Little Grass Mountain is available from Playa Lake, and there's some flowing                  water close by, Hemlock Creek is a stream you can check out during your stay. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Playa Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Playa Lake. Having a splendid time at Playa Lake is uncomplicated. Granite Pass is a good spot to spend some time at, and camping at Playa Lake is brilliant fun, Granite Creek Campground is a brilliant local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
