Take a side trip to Pierre Creek; you get a fine vista of First Thought Mountain from here. Pittman Lake is a location that is pretty dehydrated regularly; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and September meanwhile is the driest month. Box Canyon is a perfect place to explore, and get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Sherman Creek. This lake is                  so wonderful.
