Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Tumwater, and at Pitman Lake you always meet someone from Olympia. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Olympic Mountains, too fine to be true. Camping is available at Olympia Campgrounds; not far from Pitman Lake you'll locate Deep Lake which is a wonderful lake. All year is a tremendous time in the Olympic Mountains if you like the outdoors. For the duration of the       warm months at Pitman Lake highs are regularly in the 70's, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. Through the winter highs are frequently in the 40's, and night lows during the winter for Pitman Lake tend to be in the 30's. Pitman Lake is a beautiful lake in the Olympic Mountains. Pitman Lake really is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. If you came for an overnight stay American Heritage Campgrounds is a fine place                  to camp; a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is Deschutes River. Much rain falls at Pitman Lake; the wettest month of the year is usually December, that's the one that rains the most, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Rocky Prairie invigorates the soul, and an afternoon playing golf at Scott Lake Golf Course is always a bliss.
