     Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Looking for something next to Pinus Lake? Damfino Lakes is in close proximity. There's so much to do here at Pinus Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Nooksack Campground is a good location for that, of course you could also have a look at Canyon Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Throughout the summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Pinus Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the  
   50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Pinus Lake dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights.
This lake is so wonderful. Excelsior Pass is a delightful place to check out close by; do have a look at Wells Creek if you're here at Pinus Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. The high level of rain makes Pinus Lake a rather wet spot; most of the rain falls during November, and the driest month
 
               is July.
Not far from Pinus Lake you acquire some splendid water scenery at Nooksack Diversion Dam, and if the weather is gorgeous, you get a tremendous view of Excelsior Peak from Pinus Lake. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Pinus Lake. A great place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Pinus Lake is Nooksack River - North Fork; Pinus Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Shuksan Campground is a magnificent local campground. And that's not all you can do here in the Northern Cascade Range. A visit to Nooksack Falls will fill your spirit with good feelings; if you need a site to stay Glacier Springs Vacation Prop. is a great choice.
