    Pinus Lake is a lake worth visiting. Pinus Lake is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Snowwater Condos is a great choice, and soar down the rapids of Nooksack River - North Fork in a kayak. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. Nooksack Campground is a brilliant  
   local campground, and not far from Pinus Lake you obtain some tremendous water scenery at Nooksack Diversion Dam.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. Shuksan Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and Pinus Lake is not the only spot close by, Damfino Lakes is a close by lake. Wells Creek is close to Pinus Lake and is always a pleasure to visit, and obviously, A visit to Excelsior Pass is always fun.

               rock, just check out all the amusing stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. At Pinus Lake through the warm months highs are in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows at Pinus Lake during the winter mostly descend into the 30's. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. The top of Excelsior Peak is easily spotted from Pinus Lake, and a trip to Nooksack Falls will fill your spirit with brilliant feelings.
