Get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Canyon Creek - Skagit Tributary; a splendid place to camp here at Lake of the Pines       is Holman Campground. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake of the Pines; West Fork Methow Trail is a delightful local trail, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Mill Creek Trail. Frosty Lake is a nice lake near Lake of the Pines, and the summit of Holman Peak can be spotted from Lake of the Pines. Having a delightful time in the Northern Cascade Range is painless. You can run the rapids of Granite                  Creek close to Lake of the Pines, and camping is available at Chancellor Campground. All through the summertime highs here at Lake of the Pines get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Lake of the Pines temperatures fall to the 20's.
