Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things near Pine Lakes. If you came for an overnight stay Peaceful Pines Camp Ground is a fine location to camp, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Hangman Creek. During the summertime months at Pine Lakes temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's, and the nighttime is fairly colder of course, frequently in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's       while the cold winter nights at Pine Lakes are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CHENEY-UNIVERSITY AREA is a pleasant spot to get some rest; there's whitewater on Spokane River for all you adrenaline junkies. Some of the water nearby flows, like Pine Creek Drain, and at Pine Lakes you always meet someone from Spokane. If you need a location to stay Willow Springs Motel near EWU is a tremendous choice, and Phillips                  Meadow is right here at Pine Lakes. It is very dry here at Pine Lakes commonly; the month with most of the snow is December, and July on the other hand is the driest. Yogi Bears Camp Resort is a great local campground; if you've had enough of Pine Lakes, Winslow Pool is nearby. Do go to Middle Pine Dike Dam while you're here at Pine Lakes, needless to say you could also visit Middle Pine Lake while you're here; it's not far at all.
