Do stop by Pilot Lake while you're in this part of Washington. This location, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors amusing things. Paddling on Suiattle River is so much fun, and after a long day outdoors Totem Trail Motel is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Bachelor Creek is a great local stream, and Downey Lake is a delightful lake nearby. So much fun stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not enough time.

| | There is a tremendous hiking trail close to Pilot Lake called the Fire Creek Trail, and camping at Pilot Lake is wonderful fun, Downey Creek Campground is a wonderful local campground. This site rules, just look at all the fun things to do near Pilot Lake. Going for a hike on the Glacier Ridge Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and the Sulphur Mountain Way is a great hiking trail close by. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.

water falling down from the sky makes Pilot Lake a wet location; during the month of December you get the most rain around here; July is when it's the driest. For the duration of the summertime months at Pilot Lake temperatures are
typically in the 70's, and the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, mostly in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Pilot Lake
descend into the 30's. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Downey Creek; if you came for an overnight stay Sulphur Creek Campground is a brilliant location to camp.
