In Washington there are many beautiful lakes, Picture Lake is one of them. Picture Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. A glorious site close to Picture Lake is Austin Pass, and Cascade Mountain Lodge is a fine place to get some rest. Yeah, come here to Picture Lake for a fine time. If you come at the right time of year, Ruth Creek offers some good whitewater, and if you've had enough of Picture Lake, Austin Pass Lake is nearby.

A great place to camp here at Picture Lake is Shuksan Campground; getting to Bagley Creek from Picture Lake is simple. Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever want to go back home again. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Nooksack River - North Fork, and Huntoon Point is an interesting place to take a look at | |

while at Picture Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Heather Meadows is a great site, and if the weather is beautiful, you get a great view of Mount Hermann from Picture Lake.

Eagles Nest Motel & RV Park is a tremendous choice, and camping is available at Hannegan Campground. Picture Lake is a relatively wet place regularly with much rain; the month with most of the rain is November while July is ordinarily
the driest month.
High temperatures at Picture Lake all through the summer are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while Picture Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's.
