    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Picture Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do close to Picture Lake. Lakes? Sure, Sunrise Lake is around here, and Hannegan Campground is a great local campground. If the weather is wonderful, you acquire a pleasant view of Mount Hermann from Picture Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Shuksan Campground is a good place  
   to camp.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in cool geologic marks, try Huntoon Point, and a perfect close by hotel is Snowwater Condos. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Picture Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. Highs all through the winter are ordinarily in the 40's while Picture Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's.

               paddling on Ruth Creek. So many cool things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too great to be true. Austin Pass is near Picture Lake and is undeniably a wonderful place to explore, and glide down the rapids of Nooksack River - North Fork in a kayak. The high level of precipitation makes Picture Lake a reasonably wet spot; November is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
All year is a great time in the Northern Cascade Range if you love the outdoors. There's some flowing water nearby, Bagley Creek is a stream you can stop at while you're here, and Highwood Lake is a nice lake nearby.
