This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. At Pickers Pond you always meet someone from Shelton; if you need a site to stay Super 8 Shelton is a great choice. Summer at Pickers Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Pickers       Pond. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Mount Jupiter Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Summertide Resort is a good spot to camp. Lake Trask Timber Trails Assn is a pleasant local campground, and there are swamps here too, The Peat Bog is close at hand. Pickers Pond is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with a great deal of precipitation; during the month of December you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July.                  You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Olympic Mountains. You'll discover a picturesque lake called Maggie Lake near Pickers Pond, and a pleasant place for whitewater paddling is Hamma Hamma River. That right there is a heap of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Olympic Mountains has it all.
