You'll need more than a day to look at everything Phillips Lake has to offer, you can camp at Black Lake Resort. Brewer Mountain is easy to spot from Phillips Lake, and naturally, this is a wonderful area for folks who like lakes, Johnson Lake is a lake in       close proximity. Phillips Lake is a location that is rather waterless generally; December is the wettest month with most snow while September is typically the driest month. High temperatures at Phillips Lake through the summer are in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's with temperatures at Phillips Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
