     Summertime at Pheasant Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. All through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Pheasant Lake. There are splendid locations to explore along the Mount Zion Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Pheasant Lake has to offer, you can camp at Smitty's Trailer Park. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting  
   warmed up. There are other places here than Pheasant Lake, for example Lost Lake, and you can stay the night at CRISTA Camps & Conferences.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Deadfall Trail is always a good adventure, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Quilcene River. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Olympic Mountains has to offer. Not far from Pheasant Lake, you'll
 
               hit upon Mud Lake which is a stunning lake. If you're here at Pheasant Lake and you like golf, you can stop by Port Ludlow Golf Course, and after a long day outdoors The Resort At Port Ludlow is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two.
The Olympic Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Olympic Mountains is so good! If you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express POULSBO (SEATTLE AREA) is a great choice, and you're sure to encounter some good people from Bremerton-Silverdale here. Pheasant Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July.

Cattail Lake
Cattail Lake in within the Bangor Naval Submarine Base and has not been accessible (even to most navy personnel) since 911.  I have not been to Cattail Lake in a long time.  It is a small natural lake with no dam.   I don't think there is public camping at the Erland Point Mobile Home Park or CRISTA Camps & Conference grounds.  CRISTA Camps & Conference center is at the south end of Island Lake in Silverdale....

Best lake EVER!!! It is so pretty and has lots of trees and wild life!! My grandparents have a cabin there and I am a frequent vistor, as are my friends! =]...
