This lake is so wonderful. There is a delightful hiking trail close to Phantom Lake called the Tieton Meadows Trail; camping is available at Grey Creek Campground. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tieton River - South Fork; on a good day you can take a hike along the Bear Creek Mountain Trail. So many fun things in the Northern Cascade Range, just impressive.       The Minnie Meadows Trail is a great hiking trail near Phantom Lake, and why not camp at Rimrock Public Campground and Boat Landing while you're here at Phantom Lake. Summertime highs at Phantom Lake typically tend to be in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are usually in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Phantom Lake drop                  into the 20's. Phantom Lake is a pretty wet place frequently with a great deal of rain; through January this area sees the most rain; July is when it's the driest. And that's not all there is to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. A perfect nearby hotel is Game Ridge Motel. Conrad Meadows is a beautiful site any time of year, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Cispus River. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff right next door to Phantom Lake. Head up to White Pass and strap some skis to your feet; Bear Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at.
