Phantom Lake gets lots of water; during January this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is July. So much fun stuff to do at Phantom Lake, so little time. Really nice skiing awaits you at Crystal Mountain, and the Bear Creek Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. You could also visit Diamond Lake if you're here at Phantom Lake; it's close by, and a pleasant       visit to Conrad Meadows is a glorious way to spend an afternoon. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too pleasant to be true. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tieton River - South Fork, and Phantom Lake is right by the Minnie Meadows Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Bear Creek is a glorious local stream, and hiking along the Tieton Meadows Trail is tremendous fun. You can                  never get enough of the fine skiing at White Pass, and Phantom Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Rimrock Public Campground and Boat Landing is a fine local campground. Through the summer months here at Phantom Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's; through the dark hours in the winter at Phantom Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's. All year is a delightful time in the Northern Cascade Range if you fancy the outdoors. There's so much to do here at Phantom Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Grey Creek Campground is a great place for that, and Cispus River has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by.
