The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Petite Lake temperatures fall to the 30's. The high level of rain makes Petite Lake a rather wet location; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Glide down the rapids of Little Nisqually       River in a kayak, and do go to Buck Creek while you're here at Petite Lake. If you get bored of Petite Lake, you could also go to close by Goose Lake, and a good close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites PUYALLUP (TACOMA AREA). Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Cougar Mountain is a peak you can see from Petite Lake, and if you came to camp Indian Hole Campground is a perfect location to do that. Petite Lake is one of the lakes here                  in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Nisqually River. There's so much to do here at Petite Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Alder Lake Park is a wonderful location for that. Having a good time at Petite Lake is uncomplicated.
