Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Hanna Flast Nature Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Stagger Inn Campground is a wonderful site to camp. Why not camp at Petit Lake Campground if you're here at Petit Lake; Mountain Meadows is a delightful spot any time of year. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Diamond Peak is easily distinguished from Petit Lake, and a delightful close by hotel is Schweitzer Mountain       Resort. All through the summertime highs here at Petit Lake reach the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Petit Lake are in the 10's. While you're here at Petit Lake you can take a hike along the Chipmunk Rapids National Recreation Trail, and whitewater paddling is great on Priest River. Visit Deerhorn Creek since you're here at Petit Lake, and unsurprisingly,                  this is a good vicinity for folks who like lakes, Playa Lake is a lake in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. An average amount of rain falls at Petit Lake; December is the wettest month with most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. But wait, there's more to do near Petit Lake.
