A visit to Peterson Lake is always a good idea. Just can't get enough of the Olympic Mountains. And that's not all the things to do here in the Olympic Mountains. Peterson Lake is a perfect location to camp, Discovery Bay Camp-peniel's is a perfect location, and Peterson Lake is right by the Deadfall Trail. Peterson Lake is commonly a quite dried out location; most of the rain falls through December, and July meanwhile is the driest month.

| | Browns Lake is a lake that's close to Peterson Lake, and Big Quilcene River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. High temperatures at Peterson Lake throughout the summer are in the 60's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and night lows at Peterson Lake through the winter mostly fall into the 30's. Zion Trail, and after a long day outdoors Inn At Port Hadlock is a great spot to spend a night or two.
Have a great hiking adventure along the Bear Mountain Trail; if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater
paddling on Big Quilcene River. This lake is located in the wonderful Olympic Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Leland Lake Campground is a magnificent campground here, and dry warm beds await you at Aladdin Inn Port Townsend.
