If you came for an overnight stay Snag Cove Campground is a splendid location to camp, and Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is one of the destinations that are splendid to go to nearby. Man, is there a heap of exciting things to do close to Perkins Lake. Camping at Perkins Lake is brilliant fun, North Gorge Campground is a brilliant local campground. If you need       a site to stay Blue Mooese Rental Cabins is a glorious choice, and Sherman Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby. Perkins Lake gets very little precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that snows the most, and the driest of the months is September. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kettle River; a magnificent nearby hotel is H & H Motel. At Perkins                  Lake during the summer highs are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Perkins Lake are in the 10's.
