During the warm days of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Pentland Lake, and the night is a little chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are typically in the 30's; through the dark hours in the winter at Pentland Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. Pentland Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range. A good location to camp here at Pentland Lake is Spectacle Lake Resort. Around Pentland Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; most of the snow falls during December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Pentland Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Sun Cove Resort and Guest Ranch is a tremendous local campground,                  and since you're here and you like golf, you can check out Oroville Golf Club. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Northern Cascade Range.
