Puyallup River is a delightful whitewater spot close to Panther Lake, and Quality Inn Federal Way is a pleasant spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to come across some smiling people from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue here, and Panther Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Cedars Rv Park is a good local campground. Beaches are tremendous; and Caledonia Beach near Panther Lake is no exception, and lakes       are such peaceful places, why not stop at Brook Lake. All the outdoors exciting stuff right next door to Panther Lake will keep you coming back many times. Golf can be played at North Shore Golf Course, and Marlake is a wonderful lake nearby. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Duwamish River. Panther Lake mostly gets lots of rain; the month with most of the rain is December, and July on the other hand is the driest.                  Throughout the long summer days at Panther Lake temperatures are frequently in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Panther Lake.
