Around Palmer Pond you don’t get a lot of rain; the month with most of the rain is December, and July meanwhile is the driest month. That right there is loads already, but it keeps on going; Palmer Pond has it all. After a long day outdoors Clover Island Inn is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and at Palmer Pond you always meet someone from Pendleton-Hermiston.       At Palmer Pond through the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Palmer Pond temperatures dip to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Switch Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by. There's so much to do here at Palmer Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Arrowhead Campground and                  RV Park is a pleasant site for that.
