During your trip to Palmer Pond you'll meet some folks from Pendleton-Hermiston for sure; after a long day outdoors Clover Island Inn is a good site to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Palmer Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Arrowhead Campground and RV Park is a nice place for that, and Yellepit Pond is a nearby lake that you could       stop at. Places like Columbia Plateau are good to visit, and do go to Switch Pond, it's a charming lake. Man, is there a load of enjoyable stuff to do near Palmer Pond. Palmer Pond is a location that is rather dehydrated ordinarily; most of the rain falls throughout December, and July is when it's the driest. Stay the night at Green Tree RV and Mobile Home Park, and Vineyard Inn is a brilliant site to get some rest. Through the summertime months at Palmer                  Pond temperatures are usually in the 90's with night lows in the 50's.
