Why not camp at Palmer Lake Campground if you're here at Palmer Lake, and there's glorious hiking along the Chopaka Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll come across a wonderful lake called Washburn Lake near Palmer Lake, and on a lovely day you obtain a brilliant vista of Ellemeham Mountain from Palmer Lake. Chopaka Lake Campground is a perfect local campground,       and don't leave Palmer Lake without first going for a hike along the Sarsapkin Creek Trail. Summertime highs at Palmer Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Palmer Lake. Not much rainfall falls here at Palmer Lake; throughout the month of December you get the most snow around here, and the driest                  month is July. Palmer Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. Visit Sinlahekin Creek since you're here at Palmer Lake, and the Coxit Creek Trail offers hiking at its best.
