The wonderful people of Port Angeles like to hang out nearby, and the Soleduck Trail offers hiking at its best. So many enjoyable things next to Oyster Lake, truly unbelievable. Altair Campgrounds is a good local campground. Lakes? Sure, Haigs Lake is in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant journey to Sol       Duc Park is a great way to spend an afternoon, and Mud Lake is a great lake close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Olympic Mountains. Olympic National Park is a pleasant national park, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Oyster Lake; Happy Lake Ridge Trail is a great local trail. Some nearby water includes Bridge Creek, and the panorama of pretty Mount Appleton is nice. Oyster Lake is located in the Olympic Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.                  Why not camp at Indian Valley Motel and RV Park if you're here at Oyster Lake, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Uptown is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. For the period of the long summer days highs here at Oyster Lake get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. For the period of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Oyster Lake. All the outdoors amusing things in the Olympic Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. Hit the slopes at Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge in the vicinity; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Elwha River. Yeah, come up here to the Olympic Mountains for a good time. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are really abundant here at Oyster Lake. Near Oyster Lake you hit upon Appleton Pass which is a good place to have a look at, and there's good hiking along the Boulder Lake Trail.
