Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Jim Creek, and why not take a little spree to Jim Creek while you're here. Olson Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily December, that's the one that rains the       most; the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Canyon Creek South Fork Stillaguamish Tributary for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and Evanchaa Dam Number One is not far at all from Olson Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss out on a tour to Lake Chelan National Recreation Area while you're here at Olson Lake, and Twin Cedar Mobile Park is a great campground nearby. While you're here at Olson Lake you will meet lots                  of people from nearby Mount Vernon-Anacortes, and Lake Connor Park is a perfect local campground. All through the summer months at Olson Lake highs are mostly in the 70's while night lows are usually in the 50's.
