This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Yakima is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and Olney Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Springs Resort is a wonderful local campground. During the warm months, highs generally are in the 80's at Olney Lake. All through       the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Olney Lake. A lake close by is Mud Lake. Olney Lake is a location that is quite dry usually; the month with most of the snow is December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
