At Old Hatchery Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while Old Hatchery Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 30's. A splendid nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Shelton, and if you came to camp Potlatch State Park Campground is a delightful place to do that.       Take a little trip to Mussel Shell Creek while you're here at Old Hatchery Lake, and after a long day outdoors Alderbrook Resort And Spa is a tremendous location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Minerva Beach Mobile Village is always a brilliant experience, and there are some great whitewater spots on Skokomish River - South Fork. The Olympic Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Yeah, come up here to the Olympic Mountains for a                  tremendous time. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Johns Lake; playing golf is lots of fun at Lake Limerick Country Club. Be careful coming to the Olympic Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. There's whitewater on Jefferson Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. Old Hatchery Lake mostly gets a good deal of rain; through December this area sees the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
