     The beauty of Lake Number 8 attracts many people from all around. Soleduck Campground is a great campground nearby, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Soleduck Trail. All through the warm days of summer at Lake Number 8 temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Lake Number 8 drop into the 30's.  
   This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Bogachiel Peak can be distinguished from Lake Number 8; since you're here you can take a hike along the Hoh River Trail.
You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Visiting Olympic National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; swing by Bridge Creek it's a splendid spot to stop by. Don’t forget to have a look at Seven Lakes Basin while you're here at Lake Number 8; get your heart beating
 
               on the good whitewater of Elwha River. If you need a spot to stay Lake Quinault Lodge is a glorious choice, and naturally, this is a splendid vicinity for people who like lakes, No Name Lake is a lake close at hand.
Be careful coming to the Olympic Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. Lots of folks from Port Angeles come to Lake Number 8, and going for a hike along the Boulder Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Y Lake is near Lake Number 8, and brilliant skiing awaits you at Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff near Lake Number 8. Yeah, come up here to the Olympic Mountains for a splendid time. There's whitewater on Lyre River for all you adrenaline people, and dry warm beds await you at Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort. A lot of rain falls at Lake Number 8; November is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Lake Number 8 is one of the lakes here in the Olympic Mountains.

I just love Whiskey Creek Beach. I have been going here for years and now I take my mother every year for 5 days and she loves it also. My daughter and grandchildren have been here and they love it also. It is a great rustic family place. We relax listening to the ebbing tides at night, collect rocks and shells, roast marshmallows for smores and just have fun. Last time we fount a great fishing hole and handicap assessable and it had fire rings bathrooms tables camping sites right down the road. From WCB. You need to try this place if you REALLY want to relax....

lilly lake has a nice area to camp amd you can go swimming, have a nice nature hike, see a lot of different animals like birds,deer,beavers and squrels.And dont forget bug repelant, there are lots of bugs.You might see other people on the trails and mabye at the lake. You can ride horses up to lilly lake or hike with a friend or dog. Just have fun....
