The sight of Iron Mountain from North Lake is beautiful; there's splendid hiking along the Lost Creek Ridge Trail. The Meadow Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best, and Clear Creek is a fine whitewater spot nearby. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the area next to North Lake has to offer. You could also go to Independence Lake while you're here at North Lake;       it's nearby, and if you came to camp Deer Creek Campground is a brilliant location to do that. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Northern Cascade Range. A lake nearby is Pass Lake. High temperatures at North Lake during the warm months are in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at North Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's                  so much to do here at North Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Perry Creek Campground is a pleasant spot for that, and you can run the rapids of Sauk River. The high level of precipitation makes North Lake a quite wet place; during November this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Northern Cascade Range.
