For the period of the warm months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Newaukum Lake; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Newaukum Lake. You can see Rooster Rock from Newaukum Lake, and some of the water nearby flows, like Deer Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Lake Mayfield Motel is a fine       choice, and Newaukum Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Ike Kinswa Campground is a good local campground. Having a tremendous time at Newaukum Lake is simple. There's so much to do here at Newaukum Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Harmony Lakeside RV Park is a glorious spot for that. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Tilton River - North Fork; after a long day outdoors Mossyrock Inn                  is a great site to spend a night or two. Newaukum Lake is a wet place that gets much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually December, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range.
