What a nice lake Nels Lake is. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Nels Lake is excellent! Chocwich Campground is a perfect local campground; close by you stumble on the Meadow Mountain Trail which is a good hiking trail. Sauk River - North Fork is a perfect whitewater spot right next door to Nels Lake; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Stephens Pass. All through the warm months highs here at Nels Lake reach the 70's; the overnight
is a tad chillier of course, generally in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Nels Lake are in the 20's.
A short journey to North Fork Falls is always worthwhile; the Lost Creek Ridge Trail is a good hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Alpental close by, as expected you could also visit Goat Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. You truly should like the Northern

Cascade Range. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sloan Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay Bedal Campground is a delightful location to camp.
These mountains rock, just look at all the fun stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. A good panorama of beautiful Bedal Peak is available from Nels Lake, and Nels Lake is not the only place nearby, Cougar Lake is a nearby lake. Nels Lake is a wet place that gets much rainfall; through November this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is July. Nels Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range.
This lake is so wonderful. Near Nels Lake you come across Penders Canyon which is a delightful place to check out, and going for a hike on the Camp Creek Ridge Trail is always a good adventure.

Stevens has a wide diversity of trails and runs that suits every riding style. From beginner to expert and for those terrain park junkies Stevens has you covered. I think what's special about Stevens is you can find your own little part of the mountain which is all yours, I have 4-5 little runs that cross between trails and off-piste that are all mine. Also the snow is crazy good, powder almost all the time. My favorite runs are Orion, some tree skiing near wall street, and right above the power lines. Stevens also has some pretty sweet out of bounds stuff to so check it out...

Alpental
