The beauty of Nelda Lake is reason enough to stop by. Cougar Mountain Farm Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and there's whitewater on Deschutes River for all you adrenaline junkies. Nelda Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. That right there is plenty of cool things already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. Man, is there heaps of enjoyable stuff to do in close proximity to Nelda Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Nisqually River, and after a long day outdoors Liberty Inn is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Camping | |

at Harmony Lakeside RV Park is always a great experience, and do take a look at Lake Lawrence, it's a striking lake.
Take a little spree to Hull Creek since you're here at Nelda Lake, and a good nearby hotel is Prairie Motel.
A large amount of rainfall falls at Nelda Lake; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. For the duration of the summer here at Nelda Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's;
the night is quite cooler of course, regularly in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while Nelda Lake night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 30's.
