Visiting Mount Rainier National       Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; Big Creek is close to National Mill Pond and is always a pleasure to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Paul Peak Trail; you'll discover a lovely lake called Saddle Lake. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. A pretty lake like Anderson Lake in the neighborhood of National Mill Pond is a glorious site to check                  out. You'll need more than a day to explore everything National Mill Pond has to offer, you can camp at Mounthaven Resort. National Mill Pond is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is excellent! Very good water scenery is available at National Mill Pond Dam close to National Mill Pond; a good nearby hotel is Kings Valu Inn. National Mill Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls during November, and the driest month of the year is July. Throughout the summer months at National Mill Pond temperatures are usually in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 30's for National Mill Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Mineral Creek is so much fun, and Mineral Creek - North Fork has a great whitewater paddling spot close by.   Econo Lodge Buckley, Buckley 19 miles away Mt.
