Mt. Spokane is a very popular ski area close by; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Deer Springs. So many cool things next to Mystic Lake, simply unbelievable. The Chipmunk Rapids National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you get bored of Mystic Lake you could also check out close by Vances Lake. There's good hiking along the Hanna       Flast Nature Trail, and if the weather is delightful, you acquire a great vista of No Name Peak from Mystic Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Mystic Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, South Skookum Lake Campground is a great spot to camp nearby, and No Name Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. The amount of precipitation that falls at Mystic Lake is close to the national average; throughout the month of December you get the most snow                  around here, and July on the other hand is the driest. High temperatures at Mystic Lake during the months of summer are in the 80's with night lows in the 40's.
