    Many people like to go to Myrtle Lake. Myrtle Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. So much fun stuff to do at Myrtle Lake, so little time. While you're here at Myrtle Lake, you could also take a look at stunning Granite Lake, and swing by Dicks Creek it's a brilliant site to have a look at. Summer at Myrtle Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come  
   with highs in the 40's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Myrtle Lake temperatures descend to the 30's.
So much fun stuff in the Northern Cascade Range, just remarkable. Have a perfect hiking adventure along the Gee Point Trail, and you'll come across a lovely lake called McGillicuddys Duck Pond. Best Western Sky Valley Inn, Monroe is a tremendous site to get some rest; since you're here you can take a hike along the Finney Peak Trail.

               lake is so wonderful. Timberline Recreational Vehicle Park is a great campground nearby, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Boulder River. Myrtle Lake gets much water; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that rains the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. Skagit River woods is a perfect local campground; get yourself into a kayak and hit Stillaguamish River - North Fork.

We camped at blue lake july 23&24 2009.The trail is in good shape,short and easy.The lake is crystal clear and the scenery is spectacular with tall granite cliffs and multiple small 200+ ft waterfalls.Would be a great day hike for children.Bring bug spray,the mosquitos are voracious...
