On a pleasant day at Myrtle Lake you can take a hike along the Pratt Lake Trail. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Northern Cascade Range. Not far from Myrtle Lake, you'll stumble on Little Myrtle Lake which is a pretty lake, and delightful skiing awaits you at Snoqualmie. This place, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors cool stuff. There's so much to do here at Myrtle Lake       that you need to camp here for a while, West Fork Campground is a wonderful place for that, and going for a hike along the Middle Fork Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork, and you can distinguish Big Snow Mountain from Myrtle Lake. If the weather is pleasant here at Myrtle Lake, you can go for a hike along the Annette Lake Trail, and you can never get enough of                  the tremendous skiing at Alpental. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Myrtle Lake is peerless! Myrtle Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Commonwealth Campground is a wonderful local campground; dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Snoqualmie/Summit. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Myrtle Lake, for example Merlin Lake; there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Miller River - East Fork. Myrtle Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. Myrtle Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; December is the wettest month with most rain while July is generally the driest month. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Myrtle Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's.
