There's whitewater on Rock Creek - Latah Creek Tributary for all you thrill seekers, and you're sure to stumble upon some wonderful folks from Spokane here. Very striking scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Mt. Spokane, and dry warm beds await you at Maple Tree Motel & Rv Park. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Hangman       Creek; if you need a place to stay Park Lane Motel Suites & Rv Pk is a good choice. That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Muskrat Lake has it all. Muskrat Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Trailer Inns RV Park is a tremendous local campground. Camping at Maple Tree Motel and RV Park is always a fine experience, and why not take a refreshing hike along the John Wayne Trail - Tekoa Section. Not much rain falls here at Muskrat                  Lake; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that snows the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month. For the period of the warm months here at Muskrat Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
