If you are in this part of Washington make sure to pay a visit to Muskegon Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sullivan River, and there's wonderful hiking along the Chipmunk Rapids National Recreation Trail. For the period of the summer months at Muskegon Lake highs are generally in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's; winter nights come

The yearly rain here at Muskegon Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is usually December, that's the one that snows the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month. is always a diversion to visit, and after a long day outdoors Schweitzer Mountain Resort is a great place to spend a night or two. If you came to camp Granite Creek Campground is a brilliant location to do that; float down the
rapids of Priest River in a kayak. And that's not all you can do here at Muskegon Lake. Not far from Muskegon Lake, you'll hit upon Playa Lake which is a charming lake, and a pleasant site close by is Granite Pass. There's so much
to do here at Muskegon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Stagger Inn Campground is a perfect site for that, and a good panorama of beautiful Little Grass Mountain is available.
