Muskegon Lake gets a common amount of annual rain; during December this area sees the most snow, and the driest month is July. This location rules, just look at all the enjoyable stuff to do close to Muskegon Lake. If you're here, you might as well pop by Granite Pass, and Muskegon Lake is right by the Hanna Flast Nature Trail. Sullivan River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and do go to Playa Lake, it's a       striking lake. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Priest River, and Muskegon Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Stagger Inn Campground is a great local campground. Take a hike on the Chipmunk Rapids National Recreation Trail, and some of the water close by flows, like Muskegon Creek. If you need a place to stay Schweitzer Mountain Resort is a wonderful choice. At Muskegon Lake through the                  summer highs are in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 40's. During the winter the highs are generally in the 30's, and overnight lows at Muskegon Lake throughout the wintertime frequently fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
