Beautiful Murdock Lakes has much to offer visitors. Having a tremendous time in the Olympic Mountains is uncomplicated. Skokomish River - North Fork is a magnificent whitewater spot next to Murdock Lakes, and a delightful close by hotel is Canal Side Resort & Motel. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Olympic Mountains. There are tremendous spots to look at along the Royal Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Staircase Campground while you're here at Murdock Lakes, and if you need a place to stay Union Bay Hot Tub Cabins is a great choice. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Don't leave Murdock Lakes without first going for a hike along the Baldy Trail, and perfect hiking is available
along the Elwha River Trail. Camping at Murdock Lakes is good fun, Brown Creek Campground is a good local campground; not far from Murdock Lakes you'll discover Black and White Lakes which is a lovely lake. Murdock Lakes generally gets lots of rainfall; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
